Since opening our doors in 1998, our Mission has always been to create fresh, flavorful food, proudly served to friends and visitors in a casual, welcoming atmosphere with friendly hometown service. Our criterion has stood the test of time. The restaurant has become a North Shore destination. We’ve had customers drive all the way from the Twin Cities on a Sunday morning just to have our oven-baked omelets! Even though the menus are refreshed seasonally, the crisp pan-sautéed walleye and fresh Lake Superior herring have been favorite entrées since the Vanilla Bean opened. Our signature Chicken Wild Rice soup won the “Best Soup Award” from Minnesota Monthly readers. Another regional award winner is our popular dessert – caramel pecan bread pudding with home made caramel sauce. In 2011, we brought home the Two Harbors Winter Frolic Chili Cook-off First Place Trophy for our delicious Pork Tenderloin Black Bean & Green Chilies Chili. There’s nothing so satisfying as hearing customers tell us they’ve eaten all over the world and our food is some of the best they’ve ever tasted.
