NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR PROPOSED CUSTOM AIRPORT ZONING ORDINANCE FOR DULUTH INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT The Duluth International Joint Airport Zoning Board will conduct a public hearing on September 24, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in the Amatuzio Conference Room at Duluth International Airport, located at 4701 Grinden Drive, Duluth, Minnesota, in St. Louis County, Minnesota. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing and facial masks will be required. The meeting also will be broadcast on the Internet. For information on virtual attendance, visit the Airport's web site at www.duluthairport.com. PROJECT: The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be reviewing a proposal by the Duluth International Joint Airport Zoning Board to establish a custom Airport Zoning Ordinance for properties surrounding Duluth International Airport. The proposed Custom Airport Zoning Ordinance will not be retroactive to existing property development but will provide guidance for future development. The Joint Airport Zoning Board would like to take this opportunity to inform citizens of the locations and dimensions of the proposed Custom Airport Zones, along with the proposed land development restrictions associated with each, as well as receive input from the local community. All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing. Additional information can be obtained at www.duluthairport.com.
