MANUFACTURING/PROCESS ENGINEER (Electronics Manufacturing) Vishay HiRel Systems, a manufacturer of magnetics and power supplies for military and avionics applications is currently seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer for its manufacturing facility in Duluth, MN. DUTIES: Evaluate customer specifications and convert requirements into internal specifications for design, test, and manufacturing processes . Specify and design mechanical assemblies for magnetic components . Design and build electrical and mechanical test equipment, utilize mechanical CAD tools to design and fabricate tooling, jigs, and fixtures Work with design engineers to optimize processes for manufacturability, cost and quality. Improve quality and efficiency through process automation where practical. Lead prototype-to-production transition of new products Perform product testing, analyze test data, and publish test reports. Recommend and oversee outside service providers for fabrication, testing, and other services .Manage projects, develop project plans and lead project meetings Interpret failure data and initiate appropriate associated improvement actions. Provide engineering support to legacy products on the production line Additional duties as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors of Science in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering from accredited university or college Proficient with CAD design tools, printed circuit board design a plus .
