The Arrowhead Library System (ALS) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Regional Librarian Arrowhead Library System Responsible for providing program support and designing continuing education experiences for ALS member libraries, including public, school, academic, and special libraries. The librarian is a member of the ALS management team, helps coordinate and execute the ALS Strategic Plan, works with other ALS staff at system headquarters, and keeps ALS member library staff informed of project developments and issues. This position directly supervises three employees and also provides general programming support and development for all ages. This position requires an ALA-accredited master's degree in library science or a certified school library media specialist degree. The incumbent must have a minimum of three years of experience in library service with an emphasis on programming and curriculum development. Public library experience and supervisory experience are highly desirable. The entry level salary for this position for 2024 is $79,539.20 per year.
