We have an excellent opportunity for an accountant in our Mountain Iron service center. Main responsibilities involve processing the Cooperative's payroll and related reporting. Additional duties include accounts payable processing, general ledger entry and reconciliation, and related accounting processes. Qualified candidates must have an associate degree with an emphasis in accounting plus two years of accounting experience OR a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field. Prior payroll experience is preferred. Additional qualifications include experience with accounting software and spreadsheets, and knowledge of payroll wage, hour, and tax laws.
