INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN Midwest Energy Resources Company (MERC), a DTE Energy Company, is seeking an Industrial Electrician in its maintenance department at its Superior, WI facility. MERC operates a state-of- the-art coal terminal facility for the movement of western coal to customers in the Great Lakes region. Qualified applicants should have a thorough understanding of the operation, maintenance and application of programmable controllers and variable speed drives. They should be familiar with the National Electrical Code and its application, industrial electrical maintenance procedures, and have the ability to interpret electrical schematics and blue- prints and programmable logic programs. A minimum of a high school degree/diploma is required and a two (2) year technical degree in electrical industrial maintenance or equivalent expe- rience is preferred.
