Friends of the Edna G. is a page to promote a non-profit founded March of 2018 in response to the persistent decline of the Edna G.’s structural integrity and save her from sinking to the bottom of the lake.
Friends of the Edna G is a page to promote starting a non-profit to save and preserve the Edna G. Once the city gets her hauled out of the water, our work will begin in earnest, with volunteer tour guides, woodwork repairs, scraping paint, painting, historic research, straightening, bending, fixing, and promoting this marvelous example of Great Lakes boatbuilding and working on Lake Superior.
